The Airbus A350 is a series of wide-body passenger aircraft designed for efficient flight on routes ranging from short-haul to ultra-long-haul. It features innovative design, aerodynamics, engines, and cabin comfort, with lower fuel burn and CO2 emissions than previous-generation aircraft. The initial A350 design, proposed in 2004 in response to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, was a development of the Airbus A330 with composite wings, advanced winglets, and new efficient engines. The A350-900 model offers capacity, range, and economics while providing a high-quality cabin environment and flexibility for operators. As of 2025, around 68 Airbus A350s are in service worldwide with roughly 40 different operators.
