Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, known mononymously as Neymar, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or a forward for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Santos. He made his professional debut at age 17 and played five seasons for Santos, leading the club to victory in the Campeonato Paulista and its first Copa Libertadores title in 48 years. Neymar has also won the Puskás Award. He is the cousin of Jhon Jhon, who plays for Zenit St. Petersburg. Neymar and his family created a project that serves thousands of children in Praia Grande, on the coast of São Paulo, focusing on social, educational, sporting, and cultural actions.
