The Duke basketball team bounced back from another early deficit to begin its two-game West Coast visit with a double-digit win.

Though Cal kept pace with the Blue Devils for the majority of Wednesday night’s West Coast clash, it was Duke who emerged from a game of distinct runs with a 71-56win.

Duke put the clamps on another ACC opponent in the second half and remained unbeaten in the league. The Blue Devils won 71-56 at California on Wednesday night at Haas Pavilion, in the program’s first ACC game at Cal.

The No. 6 Duke Blue Devils and Cal Golden Bears meet Wednesday. Tip-off from Haas Pavilion in Berkeley, California, is scheduled for 11 p.m. ET.

Essentially, Duke suffocated Cal in the second half. Cal scored 11 from the line and that kept them being blown out. Camden shot 4-6 and Dort was 5-8 but no one else of consequence shot well. Ames finished 3-11/0-2, Justin Pippen 2-11/1-5 and Chris Bell 2-12.
