Metro Manila Subway is 50% complete The Philippines’ most ambitious infrastructure project to date - the Metro Manila Subway - has officially hit the halfway mark in construction, signaling a major leap forward in the country’s push for modern, efficient, and sustainable mass transit. 📍 Project Overview ✅ 33-kilometer underground railway ✅ 17 stations spanning 8 cities, including Valenzuela, Quezon City, Pasig, Taguig, Parañaque, and Pasay ✅ Connects three major business districts: Ortigas, BGC

Once completed, the Metro Manila Subway will be the country’s first underground railway system, spanning about 35 kilometers across 17 stations, and expected to serve more than 500,000 passengers daily.
