Certified repair for the canon mb5310 with a error code 5040 due to a broken cable from a possible mishandling of the scanning unit. We were able to unravel the cable and mend it back via a soldering iron. The error is gone but the yellow and magenta is low which will trigger a b504 error because the head will overheat without all the ink.
